Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel has released
the official music video for his latest single, “Owo Oluwa,”
featuring Young Jonn, Krizbeatz, and the Wave Choir.
Translated from Yoruba as “The Hand of God,”
“Owo Oluwa” takes a reflective, faith-driven approach as Kizz Daniel moves away
from his usual party-focused sound to explore themes of faith, divine
guidance, gratitude, perseverance, and inner peace.
The song is also dedicated to the memory of Kizz Daniel’s
late parents, giving the record an even deeper emotional meaning.
Produced with an Afro-gospel influence, “Owo Oluwa”
blends a rhythmic Afrobeats bounce with house-inspired production from Krizbeatz,
while Young Jonn’s vocal contributions and the rich harmonies
of the Wave Choir add another layer to the song’s uplifting
message.
The accompanying music video, co-directed by Perliks
Definition and philanthropist Asherkine, brings the
song’s message of faith and giving to life through a series of powerful and
heartfelt moments.
The visual opens with Kizz Daniel performing on an
elevated circular green stage, dressed in a sharp oversized black blazer and
surrounded by the Wave Choir, who appear in black-and-white robes beneath
flowing draped fabric.
The story then moves from the studio into the streets of
Nigeria, where Asherkine turns the song’s message of divine
favour and blessings into real-life acts of kindness.
In one touching moment, an aspiring fashion designer
receives a brand-new sewing machine, while a commercial driver is gifted a new
motorised tricycle. The surprises spark emotional reactions, tears of relief,
excitement, and spontaneous celebrations in the streets.
The video also features warm interactions with Young
Jonn and elderly members of the community, further reinforcing the
song’s message of gratitude, compassion, hope, and the blessings that can
transform everyday lives.
With its combination of soulful music, faith-inspired
lyrics, philanthropy, and genuine human emotion, “Owo Oluwa”
serves as a heartfelt visual tribute to grace, perseverance, and the power of
giving.
