Afro Nation Portugal, one of the world’s biggest celebrations of Afrobeats and African music, has officially unveiled its star-studded lineup for the 2026 edition.
Set against the sun-soaked shores of Praia da Rocha in the Algarve, the world’s largest Afrobeats and Amapiano festival returns from July 3 to July 5, 2026, promising another unforgettable weekend of music, culture, and global vibes.
Leading the charge are Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Asake, both making highly anticipated returns, alongside Burna Boy. Joining them at the top of the bill is South African Grammy Award winner Tyla, who makes her headline debut at Afro Nation Portugal.
The festival’s signature LIT Stage continues its tradition of merging African excellence with international star power. American rap heavyweight Gunna will appear as a special guest, while the lineup also features a dynamic blend of legends and rising stars, including:

Reflecting the ever-evolving African soundscape, Afro Nation 2026 will introduce the brand-new Afrotronic Stage. This dedicated arena will spotlight African electronic music, with a focus on genres such as Afro House, Afro Tech, Gqom, and 3-Step.
Meanwhile, the fan-favourite Piano People Stage returns to deliver the very best of Amapiano, led by genre giants DJ Maphorisa (Madumane), Uncle Waffles, and Focalistic.
