Born Masheni Midas Efe,
Midas hails from Ughelli South and Udu Local Government Areas of Delta
State. He was born in Okumagba Layout, Warri, and raised around Jakpa Road,
Effurun, Delta State, Nigeria. In addition to his musical career, he is a
trained building engineer.
His passion for music began at an
early age when he developed an interest in playing drums and other musical
instruments. Influenced by legendary and internationally acclaimed artistes
such as The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Nas, and Jay-Z, his musical
journey has continued to evolve over the years.
Today, Midas has established himself
as an artist with a broad musical range, exploring genres including Afro-pop,
R&B, Rap, Christian Jazz, Afrobeat, and Country music.

at a time when the energetic singer and songwriter continues to build a brand
that combines artistry, inspiration, and enterprise. Over the

Speaking about his forthcoming EP,
Midas revealed that the project will explore themes centered around hustle,
encouragement, and lifestyle.
Midas, is also currently working on
another new track featuring the talented artiste Shuun Bebe. The
upcoming collaboration is expected to carry his signature Afrobeats sound, with
the song scheduled for release before the end of the year.
